Book
Last night I did take a stack of books down to the library in the basement-I did keep these books on my desk to read or dream of reading when not dead tired from existence—
The First Epistle to the Corinthians [The New International Greek Testament Commentary] by Anthony C. Thiselton
Conflict & Community In Corinth: A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary on 1 and 2 Corinthians by Ben Witherington III
First Corinthians [Sacra Pagina] by Raymond F. Collins

The Gods Of The Nations:Studies In Ancient Near Eastern National Theology by Daniel I. Block

Christ, our Righteousness:Paul’s Theology of Justification by Mark A. Seifrid
Beat Down To Your Soul-What Was The Beat Generation? Poems, Essays, Memoirs, Notes, Protests, Attacks, and Apologies-from the Beat Explosion That Rocked the World Edited with an Introduction by Ann Charters.
Women in the Church: A Fresh Analysis of 1 Timothy 2:9-15 Edited by Andreas J. Kostenberger, Thomas R. Schreiner, and H. Scott Baldwin
The reason why I have several commentaries on First Corinthians on my desk is that I have been studying First Corinthians since last December-we need to be studying the Bible instead of seeking worldly entertainment. “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever” 1 John 2:15-17
In my study I keep my stero on a old typing table-under the table are these books-magazines-catalog-Bibles etc. . .
